校园的声音
校园的声音 provides audio/video support services for WWU-sponsored events on campus outside of the WWU church sanctuary. Use the form at the bottom of this page to request 校园的声音 services.
How the 校园的声音 process works:
1. 早期预警
校园的声音 needs a one month notice for large events. Examples of large events include: Jumpstart, Outdoor stage events, U-days, 校友的周末, Battle of the Bands, 春天果酱, 和毕业.
2. Submit a 校园的声音 Request form
Fill out a 校园的声音 Request form (bottom of this page) at least 七天 prior to the event. If less than 七天, a Late Submittal Fee of $25 will be charged. See the Late Submittal Fee policy. We are not able to fulfill last-minute requests. Event facility reservations must have a minimum of one hour of sound check and one hour of setup time (two hours total) reserved in advance of the event.
3. Receive confirmation
You will get an email from the 校园的声音 secretary confirming receipt of the 校园的声音 Request form.
4. Receive contact information
Once a sound engineer has been scheduled to work your event, you will receive an email with the name of the sound engineer(s) and their contact information.
5. Sound check one hour before
Sound check begins one hour before the event starts. 音乐ians and slideshow presentations must be ready for sound check. Please be prepared to run through everything. Last minute changes will not be accepted. Videos need to be downloaded before the event. Provide video links to the campus sound tech one day prior to the event.
6. Review our service
After the event, you will receive an email asking you to submit your feedback and suggestions so that we can improve and make sure that you're satisfied with our service.

Directions to 校园的声音:
Small 事件 Fee
校园的声音 sets up portable AV equipment for WWU-sponsored events with more than 25 people free of charge. For small events (when less than 25 people show up and stay), the billing after such an event is:
Sound setup/run/pack up = $30
Sound/video setup/run/pack up = $50
To determine attendance, a headcount will be taken by the Sound Engineer halfway through the event. If fewer than 25 people are present, a small events fee will be assessed.
Late Submittal Fee
By submitting this 校园的声音 Request Form you agree that your department or club will pay a $25 late submittal fee if your request is submitted less than 7 days prior to the event.
Training services
We provide training to enable groups/departments to manage their sound independently as much as possible. 例如:

If you are planning an event with less than 25 people, you may pay for 校园的声音 labor to run the event, or save that money by runnin the event yourself. First find a venue with built-in sound/video capabilities - see list below. After you choose a location, 校园的声音 is willing to come at least 24小时 before the event starts (free of charge) to help you understand the built-in system and to make sure that you can play the music, video, or PowerPoint that your program needs.
Havstad Upstairs
This room has a built-in computer, 演讲者, a projector, 还有一个屏幕. Good for music, videos, and PowerPoints.
WWU Church Fellowship Hall
This room has an HDMI cord to mirror your laptop/MacBook screen to the TVs, 演讲者, 2 cordless mics, and 2 large TVs. Good for music, videos, and PowerPoints.
Heubach教堂
This room has a built-in computer, 演讲者, 4 wireless mics, a projector, 还有一个屏幕. This venue is dedicated to sacred programs and is good for music, videos, and PowerPoints.

This room has a HDMI cord for a laptop/MacBook, 演讲者, 2个有线麦克风, a new projector, 还有一个屏幕. Good for music, videos, and PowerPoints.
阿拉斯加的房间
This room has a built-in projector 还有一个屏幕. Good for PowerPoints.
Smart Classrooms
Many smart classrooms across campus in the 政府 Building, 鲍尔斯厅, the Fine Arts Center, Kretschmar, 里格比, 史密斯, and the Winter Educational Complex have built-in 演讲者, 投影仪, 和屏幕. Good for music, videos, and PowerPoints.
The Peterson Memorial 图书馆 loans 投影仪 和屏幕.
校园的声音 maintains sound equipment for areas such as:
- Athletic department
- Gym – Basketball & 排球

Livestreaming or Recording? If so, contact Media Services 克里斯.drake@sotanomc.net .
If Media Services is unable to livestream/record your event, 校园的声音 may be available to do it. First check with Chris Drake to see if Media Services can do it.
Livestream availability depends on:
- 7-day advance notice. 14-day advance notice for large events > 200 people.
- If staff is available to do it.
- No charge if at least 15 users are watching the stream at the halfway point during the program.
- $30 per camera charge if less than 15 users are watching the stream at the halfway point.
- You need to obtain releases/permission signed by the people making the presentation.
- Your Chair/Department Head must sign showing agreement that it would be appropriate and represent WWU well to all audiences.
Recording availability depends on:
- 7-day advance notice. 14-day advance notice for events > 200 people.
- If staff is available to do it.
- $30 per camera charge
- You need to obtain releases/permission signed by the people making the presentation.
- Your Chair/Department Head must sign showing agreement that it would be appropriate and represent WWU well to all audiences.
校园的声音 does not livestream/record/live-sound reinforcement in the WWU Church Sanctuary. Check with Media Services (Chris Drake) or Institutional Sound (Albert Handal).
Late Notice of Cancelation Fee
If you need to cancel your event, remember to notify 校园的声音 promptly - at least 24小时 before the event start time. If not, a $15 Late Notice of Cancelation Fee will be charged. When planning your outdoor event, check the weather everyday for favorable conditions. 如果有阵雨, 大风, or lightning is forecast, notify 校园的声音 with 24小时 advance notice of your backup plan - indoor venue.
